The custodians of William Morris’ unique designs, Morris & Co.’s beautiful fabrics and wallpapers have stood the test of time for more than 160 years.
Born in Walthamstow, East London in 1834, William Morris was a pioneering poet, socialist, environmentalist and a leading figure of the Arts & Crafts movement. Championing the skill of craft traditions through his company, Morris & Co. (est. 1861), he is regarded as one of the foremost creative figures of all time.
Over the years, William Morris’ designs have become synonymous with Victorian interior design and are frequently featured in period restoration and renovation projects.
Morris’ original designs, carefully stored in the Morris & Co. archive, are now available for pet parents to share with their furry friends.
