Rosewood takes a bite out of pet treats with six new ranges

As Rosewood Pet Products prepares for growth, they have this month announced expansion into the pet treats market with the launch of six new innovative and healthy treat ranges for cats and dogs.

The pet treats market has experienced significant and consistent growth in recent years. In 2015, 91 tonnes of dog treats were produced and the market valued at £410m, whilst the cat treat market was valued at £120m*.

With responsible pet parenting at the core of Rosewood’s values, the company has identified this exciting opportunity for growth in a bid to further encourage a healthy lifestyle for cats and dogs of all sizes, breeds and ages.

For dogs, this latest expansion features the following new additions:

  • Natural Nosh: Made from the finest cuts of 100% meat and a rich source of protein.
  • Natural Nosh Plus: All the benefits of Natural Nosh but with added supplements and superfoods, such as spinach, kale, sweet potato, pumpkin and carrot, for health-conscious and sensible pet parenting.
  • Dr Dental: Featuring dental sticks, brushes and log bones that are specially designed to maintain healthy teeth and bones.
  • Leaps and Bounds: This range has something for every age, size and breed - from grain-free training treats to dog safe chocolate and hot dogs made with 91% meat.
  • Tail Twisters: Rawhide dog treats made from real chicken breast meat.
  • Grillhouse: Low fat, high protein, rawhide treats that look like they’ve come straight off the BBQ!

The new treats also caters for cats, with feline-friendly products announced in the following ranges:

  • Natural Nosh: Made from the finest cuts of 100% meat and a rich source of protein.
  • Leaps and Bounds: Vitamin-enriched treats, designed to help boost the immune system and for strong, healthy bones
