Taking your pet away with you? With the summer holidays in full swing, we’ve pulled together our top travel tips to make sure that you and your furry friend arrive safely at your holiday destination.
Make sure your pet can be identified
Just like we have our passports and travel documents, your four legged friend will need theirs! They should be properly identified and have all their correct health forms to hand.
If you’re travelling abroad, ensure that your pet has had a health check-up before you travel and that they meet all the necessary requirements. Don’t forget to keep copies of these documents, as well as photos of your pet with contact details, in your hand luggage. Your pet should also have their collar and tag on at all times - you could even treat your pet to a new collar for their holiday!
Travel carriers are your new best friend
Travelling with your pet has never been easier when using our new Bracco Travel Carriers! You can make sure your pet is comfortable and safely contained in one of our carriers, which are available in five sizes. The carriers are not only stylish and practical, but they’re ideal for transporting pets by air, sea or land! Sizes 4, 5 and 6 have two handles and also wheels, making it wheel-y easy to travel with your pet! The carriers are also perfect for shows and overnight stays in hotels or when camping.
Don’t fur-get to throw in one of our Mint Nylon Dog Chew toys to keep your pup happy whilst they travel.
Keeping pets fed and watered is always on top of the agenda, so make sure you pack a Travel Drinking Bottle and a Travel Bowl so that you can fill it up with your four-legged friend’s favourite dish whilst you’re on the go. It’s good to be prepared as well so pack one of our Travel First Aid Kits so that you’re ready for anything! Also, if you’re visiting somewhere hot, take our Cooling Pad with you so that your pup can chill out if they get too warm.
